TechSpace Holding Co., a provider co-working space equipped with advanced technology services, plans to expand into Austin Texas by opening its eighth TechSpace business center at San Jacinto Center, a high-rise office tower at 98 San Jacinto Boulevard, Austin, Texas.
TechSpace Austin will occupy the ground floor and the entire 4th floor of the office building owned by Parkway Properties. The unique 28,000 square foot TechSpace Austin facility will feature 24 private office suites on the 4th floor totaling 250 workstations and a coworking and event space on the ground floor. The site is scheduled to open in January 2016 and will join seven existing locations in New York City, Los Angeles, Orange County and San Francisco, California.
Located adjacent to Lady Bird Lake, San Jacinto Center features 21-stories with views of downtown Austin, the Capitol, and Lady Bird Lake. Designed by Howard K. Smith Architects, the 410,248 square foot building is accented in Texas Crème limestone with Llano Rose granite details. The circular lobby features granite floors, walls clad in mahogany and limestone, and a coffered ceiling with mahogany details. On-site amenities include a conference room, ATM, an upscale restaurant, deli, fitness center, salon, and overnight courier drop box. The property also features in-building parking, with more than 640 subterranean spaces as well as a visitor surface lot.
