Lerch Bates to Provide Elevator Maintenance Management Services for Hilton Worldwide

Lerch Bates, an international consulting firm for vertical transportation, façade access and materials management, has been selected by Hilton Worldwide, Inc. to provide elevator and escalator maintenance management services for the company’s Hilton portfolio in the United States.

Lerch Bates, the oldest and largest vertical transportation consulting firm in the world, and Hilton Worldwide, Inc., one of the largest hospitality companies in the world, have designed a custom maintenance management program to support and improve the ongoing maintenance and repair of Hilton’s elevators and escalators. The Hilton owned, managed and franchised properties participating in the program exceeds 4,300 elevators and escalators in more than 1,400 hotels across the country.

Lerch Bates will provide Hilton on-site surveys and equipment analysis, maintenance audits of the systems, compilation of statistical analysis reports, reviews of maintenance findings and development strategies for the systems. The firm will tap into its expertise in engineering and technology to improve the maintenance and repair of Hilton’s elevators and escalators.
